I think that both text and tune are quite nice.
Putting the accented syllable of 'off'red' (stanza 5) on the unaccented quaver is somewhat jarring or awkward.
The third line of the tune could have been lifted right out of another tune which I can't identify at this moment Caithness.
Not that you did this deliberately - it happens accidentally all the time and there's no need to change it.
