My father in law has recently had surgery for cancer. The physicians believe that they have removed all of the cancerous tissue, however they also believe he had a stroke, and he is not waking up. Vitals are otherwise good.
Thank you everyone. He is doing better this morning, and the doctors are very hopeful. His speech has improved considerably since last night, and he is moving his limbs much better. Thank you for your support and God bless you.
Thank you all for your prayers. I know this is a very old thread, but I wanted to put some closure on it. The cancer returned, and my father in law died on 1 August 2020 at his residence in Decatur, IN. He battled the second time for three years. We took our sons to see him as much as possible, and I think they made some good memories with him. They are too young to remember much though: oldest is 2 and the baby turned 1 in October after he died. Soli Deo Gloria et Requiescat in Pace.
Requiescat in pace. Your experience is, sadly, a familiar one to me as well. Prayers for you and your family, as well as for the soul of your father-in-law.
