I am looking for a comprehensive edition, preferably a Complete Works edition or part of a Complete Works edition, of Palestrina's Masses. I am not looking for a CPDL edition - I would like something that is professionally done. Modern clefs are required.
This seems to only leave the Casimiri edition, which I haven't been able to find in any real capacity. Are there credible alternatives to the Casimiri or will I just have to search out an extant copy?
Sadly, I have to agree. Unless you're willing to deal with the Haberl editions of which I haven't seen in standard print in YEARS I'd say the Casimiri are the best out there so far.
