Bass section leader opening at St. Therese Carmelite Catholic Church in Alhambra, California (near Pasadena and San Marino). Two paid ($50 each) services a week: Wednesday rehearsal rom 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., plus Christmas, Holy Week and other Feast Day Masses and extra-liturgical events.) The St. Therese choir sings polyphony, English Propers, Gregorian chant and great choral repertoire. There is a possibility of adding cantor services ($75 per) (with training), and funeral and wedding Masses, ($175 per) depending upon solo ability. Section leader must have excellent choral tone and pitch, be able to model good singing technique, be a good sight-reader, and comport himself in respectful and reverent worship during all liturgical celebrations.
