I have a plainsong notated Apostles' Creed in Latin for use in multilingual vespers tomorrow evening, but need to get the melody written out in normal 5 line staff notation - is there anybody who might be willing to do this? I'm trying to get my group to use more plainsong, but there is no way we would be able to manage this with only a 90m rehearsal tomorrow evening unless we have it in regular notation!
I'm surprised that someone here hasn't produced your desired version. If you have the music and only wish to put it in 'modern' notation you could easily do this manually, write it out by hand, and make copies of it. This should be rather easy to do.
Converting plainchant into modern 5-line notation is usually not a trivial job, because most music notation programs are designed for music with a fixed time signature.
Jackson's suggestion is probably the most expedient way to get the job done quickly. If you don't have any sheet music paper in your office, you can download that from the net: there are several sites with blank "music paper" PDFs available.
Much as I appreciate the merging of redundant threads, "help with notation" isn't a very useful subject line for Apostles' Creed seekers of the future.
