We are planning an event on October 6-7 at Our Lady of Peace Shrine in Santa Clara that will feature Dr. Craig Russell (musicologist extraordinaire regarding California and Latin American missions music) in a lecture recital. His topics will be "Choral Music of Colonial Latin America & the California Missions: An Examination of Style, Repertoire, and Cultural Context." and "Gozos or “Praise Songs” in the California Missions and their Origins in Baroque Spain."

As part of this, we will perform his editions of works by Sancho, and also Gozos such as "Dulce esposo de Maria". We are looking for additional singers for this event! If you are in the area and can commit that Friday to rehearsal in Santa Clara, please contact us at: ldknutson@gmail.com
