If anyone knows of a position opening, even as assistant, for a choir master/organist, with eleven years experience building a choir nearly from scratch, starting a chorister program, and knowledge of various repertoire from florid organum to contemporary works (like Tavener, et al.), and daily practical use of English plainchant and Gregorian semiology, please let me know via PM...I may be interested.
I hope you can find a position in Portland OR. Archdiocese just hired a Liturgical Director. I want to sing in a chant schola with others who are willing to learn propers and early polyphony and render them sensitively as prayer.
