Ave Maria: A Concert of Music to the Blessed Mother Sunday, June 25th, 3pm at St. John the Guardian of Our Lady Parish in Clinton, Massachusetts
With Bishop McManus recently consecrating the Diocese of Worcester to the Blessed Virgin Mary, it is entirely fitting that we should celebrate with music in honor of Her. Please join us at St. John's in Clinton on Sunday, June 25th at 3pm, as we welcome back the professional Schola Cantorum of St. John's Church in Worcester, as part of our Sacred Music Series. The program will feature beautiful Marian choral music, including several settings of the beloved Ave Maria text. The concert is free, approximately one hour long, and families are welcome. Donations will be accepted at the door to benefit the performers and the parish. Please do not miss this beautiful opportunity to mark a special moment in our Diocesan history. St. John's is located at 80 Union St. (Routes 62 and 70) in Clinton, and is ramp accessible.
St. John's and its music program were recently featured on the front page of the Easter Sunday edition of the Worcester Telegram and Gazette. You may read the story and view pictures and video here:
