Unknown Regina Caeli Melody

    I recently attended a Sacred Music Networking social at St. Thomas University in Houston and on display were a few pages owned by the school from various manuscripts. This one was titled as being 15th or 16th century Spanish in origin. Anyway, looking at it, I cannot say I've ever seen this melody before now. Does anyone know it's origin or use? Below is a picture.image

    Very interesting. I've never encountered this melody. The manuscript is rather late, as is evidenced by some peculiarities of the notation and the style of the initial. Many thanks for putting this up, Christian. It is a lovely melody. Could we see the rest of it?
