Large suburban parish with active music program seeks a full-time, highly-skilled musician to assist in playing for liturgies, and to serve as accompanist for the parish liturgical choir and schola. The successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic, and will demonstrate the ability to accompany and lead congregational singing in both traditional and contemporary styles. Knowledge of the Church’s liturgical documents and norms is presumed. A Bachelor’s degree in music and strong communications and organizational skills are required. Competitive salary commensurate with experience. The parish has a four-manual Cornel Zimmer pipe organ in the main church, a two-manual Casavant organ (1935) in the chapel, recently renovated and enlarged, as well as a 48-bell Eijsbouts carillon.
