I know we have many generous and talented composers... just want to make you aware that Wilko Brouwers has a new site where support for his composition work can be made: https://www.patreon.com/wilkobrouwers
I think this is an excellent model for allowing gifted composers to gain support to allow them to do their work with the support of many individuals. Historically, wealthy benefactors often supported composers to allow them the freedom to support themselves while creating beautiful art and music... in today's world, I think this is an excellent way to allow those of us who appreciate the work of individuals (even if we are not wealthy) to offer patronage.
As you probably know, Wilko has long been a supporter of the CMAA and has generously provided compositions for the Words with Wings books and is currently working on a songbook for children for us.
I contribute to a couple of podcasters through Patreon, and I think it's a brilliant way for artists to "crowdfund" on an ongoing basis. It's straightforward, honest, and controlled by the giver.
