    This is so familiar but I just can't remember the name this time of year (too much stress I suppose!) I apologize upfront for the poor quality of the file but the general tune is there. To all you music gurus on here, what is it and composer please please..?

    The music is used on the soundtrack to 'Amadeus' but I do not believe it is Mozart!

    It is indeed Mozart.
    I'm not sure right now, but it sounds like one of his cassations, an informal genre intended for outdoor performance.
    Come to think of it, I seem to recall that there was a brief outdoor musical event in Amadeus.
    This might have been it.
