Thumbing through various chant books, I haven't found an example of a fa clef positioned anywhere other than the third line from the bottom. Do they really exist? I'm preparing a little tutorial to be used in my parish. The intro to the Liber shows a fa clef on the top line as a possibility, and the Parish Book of Chant shows one on the second line but not the top line. I note that a fa clef on the second line is identical to a do clef on the top line, which occurs frequently. Unless I've missed something, the Meinrad fonts don't include a top-line fa clef. Anybody know of an example, or do they occur exclusively on the third line?
