This past summer I did an in-person interview with a journalist in Norcia, Italy (prior to the unfortunate earthquake there!), on the greatness of the Catholic sacred music tradition. She subsequently published it with Aleteia in three parts:
Part 1: Sacred music is alive and well (this one's about my journey as a church musician) Part 2: “Human beings need beautiful things” (this is about the Magisterium on sacred music) Part 3: How to bring better sacred music to your parish (this is the practical bit: advice on how to get better music into your parish -- wherein the CMAA features largely.)
I've been told that Parts 2 & 3 are helpful to those who are just getting into the subject (e.g., musicians, parishioners, clergy, who are still trying to figure out whether there is such a thing as sacred music and what to do about it).
