Holy Rosary Parish in West Seattle is seeking a new .25 FTE choir director for its 8:30AM Sunday Mass and some Feast Days throughout the year. The choir sings from September through the beginning of June. Supported primarily by our MP Moller pipe organ, the choir’s repertoire includes a variety of traditional music, from Gregorian Chant and the occasional polyphony to classics and the hymnody of today. The successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic with a love of the Sacred Liturgy and an advanced degree in music or a related field. To better enable this individual to recruit, form and lead the choir at their rehearsals and at Mass, candidates should have at least three years’ experience in a similar setting. For more information or to submit a resume and application, contact Gary Samaniego at gsamaniego@holyrosaryseattle.org.
