Motivated by pure sloth, I have recourse to the kind (and I rather hope sloth-enabling) members of this august board...
Has anyone here typeset the Dominican form of the 'O Salutaris' and 'Tantum Ergo'? Yes, I know that both are available in the 1933 Antiphonarium, but without the text of those verses inserted beneath the notation. The Dominican Salve is a bit easier to cut and paste across from the Compline book...
I'm in a situation where I am trying to preserve as much of the Dominican patrimony as possible for a Holy Hour in a Dominican institution.
Also - Can anyone tell me what Bonniwell (1946) has to say about Benediction in the Dominican Rite? To be honest, I didn't realise the Order had its own form until I spotted this today! How does it differ from the Traditional Roman form?
Are they not in Gregobase... Have just checked there are two Dominican melodies for the Pange Lingua... The verses can be added using this, http://gabc.romanliturgy.org
Thanks, Tomjaw. Have had a crack at both the Tantum and O Salutaris in GABC. Tantum worked fine but O Salutaris seems to have an error... I don't suppose anyone here would be able to help?
Gregobase is here (see link below), so you will have to search for the full Pange lingua / Verbum rather than the shortened versions used for benedictions,
