Samuel Weber's The Proper of the Mass gives a communion for last Sunday that was new to me: I think it was the same Benedic anima mea given in the Dominican Gradual, where it is assigned to Most Holy Name.
The usual antiphon for Pentecost VII is Inclina aurem, still a good fit for Year B's Epistle, while Christus resurgens echoes the Year A Epistle; perhaps neither is quite generic enough to be 'apt' to the Year C pericope?
