Fugue in C Minor : by Koerber
  • Thank you, Francis. Is this for a particular ensemble (the oboe d'amor is a daring choice)? I like your use of rhythm. There are moments where the meter seems to dance because of them.

    RomanticStrings

This can be played on any instruments, including the organ. I have never played it myself. It works well with a string quartet, brass quartet, guitar quartet, etc., etc.

I just used these instruments so you can hear the individuality of the polyphonic voices.
  • I see. That makes sense.

After I posted this I realized that there was a problem with measure 43, so I have revised it to demonstrate a more pleasing solution.

Please also note that in the video, in measures 79 and 80, the notes in the Soprano part that go below middle C do not sound since they are not in the range of the flute. That is why it sounds odd at that point. :0

Therefore, I altered the sound font to emulate the recorder which allows you to hear all the notes satisfactorily.
