Antiphons for a Spanish funeral

    Help! I need the antiphons of the requiem mass ( novus ordo) in Spanish. Particularly, the introit, the communion, and the Saints of God.

    Dales, Señor, el descanso eterno
    y brille para ellos la luz perpetua.

    Comunión:
    Brille, Señor, para ellos la luz perpetua
    y vivan siempre en compañía de tus santos,
    ya que eres misericordioso.

    Cántico de Despedida:
    ¡Vengan en su ayuda, santos de Dios!

    Kevin, an explanatory note about the sources for these texts:

    The text for the Cántico is the translation approved for the USA and found in Ritual de Exequias Cristianas. There being yet no approved Spanish translation of the complete Misal Romano for the USA, the introit and communion antiphons I posted are from Mexico's approved translation. (But folks are free to use the approved translation from any country until the USA gets its own.) The translation from Spain is slightly different; for example, it uses “eterna” in place of Mexico's “perpetua.”

    For this funeral, the antiphons are done in Spanish but the ordinary is done in Latin. We'll sing the In paradisum in Latin at the end. A fascinating mix and surely unusual in my experience of doing Spanish funerals.
