simple graduation music

Anyone have any ideas for simple graduation music? I run a little schola at a small Catholic school, and I need to teach the kids a simple song that they can sing at the school's 8th-grade graduation, (a) without direction (since I won't be present), and (b) without accompaniment.

    Gaudeamus igitur?
    Words to Pomp & Circumstance?
    A simple round?

Depending on the age of the children, direction will be there, even if you're not there.

The words to Pomp and Circumstance often have a reference to Nottingham Forest, so you may want to avoid that.

Not to nit-pick your question to death, but is graduation music at a Mass, in which a conferral of diplomas will take place, or is it a separate ceremony, or is this a concert connected to the graduation festivities. What one sings will change according to these circumstances.

The day begins with Mass, and then the graduation follows, so the music won't be used in a liturgical setting. There will be 1st-8th graders singing.
  • Can they learn the canon Non nobis, Domine?
