Today we are all no doubt far too busy to celebrate the anniversary this year... But how about next year!

We hope to sing quite a few of his Communions over the course of the year.

  • Good idea, tomjaw!
We don't really make enough of our musical heroes.
We could use a roster of those who rate a Te Deum on their birthday -
    but! where would we stop?

Fortunately, Corinne Cooze (CCooze) has been editing and engraving Isaac's works and making them available at CPD (and several of them here, too). She has provided scores for some 30 of the 77 Isaac works available at CPDL. And there is more to come!!

Here is Corinne's edition of the Isaac setting of the Graduale and Alleluia for Easter Sunday("Haec Dies" and "Pascha Nostrum").

We have been busy singing Isaac, Thanks CCooze! and we are singing the communion on Sunday.

A professional choir is visiting on Laetare, and I have suggested they do some Isaac, We are singing the day before for the Annunciation, we should be singing Hasler!
