Just curious: If you celebrate/plan/attend/... EF Vespers in the Triduum, are/were they chanted or not?
Rubrics of the breviary say that the Vespers ought to be said "sine cantu", but the 1912 Antiphonale has all tunes ("in order that they are not lost - and for churches where it is custom to chant them") with the exception of Saturday Vespers (back then minified and included as a part of a Mass). The 1961 Liber (edited after the Holy week reform of Piux XII, which restored the Vespers) doesn't have the "sine cantu" rubric and includes full tunes even for the Saturday Vespers. So - do you follow the breviary rubrics, or make use of the riches of chant books?
