Are there any opinions as to the contents of this MS? Does anyone envisage any of the Mass Ordinary settings as feasable for 2 or 3 clerks/singers of intermediate experience to sing in a small scale parish environment? I am looking for early mass Ordinaries such as those used in the Avignon Papal Chapel in the 14th c.

I did a project on the OHMs as an undergraduate; I seem to remember (it was quite a while ago) that the Mass ordinaries would be beyond the scope of '2 or 3 clerks/singers of intermediate experience to sing in a small scale parish environment'. The style of the Mass ordinaries is often quite dissonant and rhythmically complex.

Some of the older works in there are simpler. But you'd have to be selective. And it depends on what your definition of "intermediate" is.
