    I learned on Facebook this afternoon that Arthur Connick, who directs the schola at the ICKSP parish in Oakland, was hospitalized because of complications from Guillain-Barre syndrome. Please pray for him and his family.

    If you don't know Arthur, he is the person who created the large format propers that are available on the ICKSP website. I imagine many people used them; I know I do every week.

    Guillain Barre is no joke. I've got a good friend who has that as well. All the best for Mr. Connick.
