I am very excited with this. Someone in the patoral Committe who is also our schola member sent me this draft, (draft response for Archdioces) which will be addressed at the meeting tonight.
2. R. [has been] a "progressive" parish; [And there are seeds of movement of the traditional. An example is the formation of a Chant Schola with professional leadership, which sings at one mass. Also a Latin translation class is forming. Natural divergent interests of a large parish should permit the leadership to support movement without restrictive labels or conclusions].
There's nothing came out yet, and this will not change much what we've been doing. But just the fact someone is speaking for the schola and being recognized at the church's meeting means a lot. (especially in one of the most 'progressive church' in this area') We also found a struggling schola in the nearby parish, and we are planning to do something together, starting Vespers together. Eventually, our final goal is having EF mass, which will take a long time and lots of struggle. But we will be ready.
