Note: The up to date revision of this work is posted below, in June 2022.
I finally bit the bullet and recomposed my Antiphon for the Sixth Sunday of Easter, "If You Love Me" (formerly it used the old Lectionary text but now uses the new Missal text), adding also Psalm verses (Ps. 34) set to a newly composed Anglican Double Chant. PDF score and MP3 sound realization attached (now, in the next post). Feedback welcome.
Update: I changed a few notes (one of them to eliminate a parallel fifths situation, the others for better voice leading and balance), and I altered the sound file so that it plays the Antiphon, Chant, Alleluia part of the Antiphon, Chant, Antiphon.
Here is yet another (final?) revision/update to my setting of the Communion for the Sixth Sunday of Easter, "If You Love Me." I also transposed it up a minor 3rd, for better placement of SATB vocal ranges. Both the transposed (high) and original key versions are attached
Latest version: I have modified this work somewhat from the last posted version, somewhat changing the pace of the soprano line at the beginning and also incorporating Heath's suggestion. Also, there are some changes in barring/meter that make the work easier to follow. Versions in C, D, E-flat for mixed SATB choir and a version in A for ATBarB (or TTBarB) voices are attached.
