I'm curious if some folks here might kindly point me to some online videos of a Catholic Mass where the proper, chanted Introit is used as the processional music. Gregorian preferred; SEP would be wonderful, too. (Offertory or Communion would be fine as well -- I'm just trying to find examples of the liturgical action occurring with the corresponding chants. I'd love to see these in a "typical" church or cathedral parish.)
I've looked a bit myself, but most of what I'm finding is Protestant (usually Anglican or Lutheran) and/or is not chant.
I know this isn’t a video, but unless there is some rite before Mass, e.g. Ash Wednesday, my parish practice is that the Introit is the processional, this in the usus antiquior too.
Thanks to canadash for the above video from Toronto. It was nice. Also nice is solemn evensong and benediction at Christ Church, New Haven, Connecticut, which pops up afterwards.
I recognized Bartlett's work from singing with him.
Where are you getting the Weber settings? There are none in his book (though they were promised in the original advertisement) and on the index hosted by this site there are only a few stray verses and all in mode 8.
