I just wanted to give a little plug for Cape Harmony, a wonderful professional girls' acapella group, whom my own acapella family choristers had the pleasure of meeting this summer in Massachusetts. While strolling down Chatham's crowded main street my son spied a bevy of girls with "Cape Harmony" t-shirts approaching. He turned to me and grinned, "Mom, watch this. Let's see if these girls know their stuff."
As they started to pass us on the sidewalk, he struck a dramatic pose and belted out,
"Oh, baby, there ain't no mountain high enough!"
Without missing a beat, they all stopped in their tracks and sang in perfect harmony,
"Ain't no valley low enough, Ain't no river wide enough To keep me from getting to you babe."
We saw them later in concert and yes, they do indeed know their stuff. : )
