I have been asked to plan a mass to end the three day celebration of St. Anne tomorrow night. I have a couple of questions because I never play a daily mass during the week or had to plan music for St. Anne. Do other members on here have to play tomorrow and can help me out??
Secondly, the psalm is psalm 106. I cannot find a setting of psalm 106 in the Worship IV. I know occasionally a psalm for the Saints feast day or one of the common psalms for ordinary time is used.
Looking for hymn suggestions and thoughts on the sung psalm we can use.
I was looking at a Saint theme for hymns:
Entrance: By All Your Saints Still Striving (St. Theodulph) Offertory: Blessed Feast of Blessed Martyrs Communion: French hymn to St. Anne Recessional: For All the Saints
Here's what we sang today... the small chapel was packed tight, but we didn't need to add any hymns for time.
The Hymn to Saint Anne is really "To Kneel at Thine Altar"... I took a few liberties with the verses.
The antiphons were all Simple English Propers, and the Psalm and Alleluia were from Illuminare Productions' Score Library, at https://illuminarepublications.com/scores/
