Ennio Morricone Composes a Mass

It is called the “Missa Papa Francisci” in honor of the Holy Father and debuted at the Gesù church in Rome for celebrations of the 200th anniversary of the restoration of the Jesuits. The Nat. Catholic Reguster article had an interesting bit on his faithfulness to the Gregorian tradition.

I am not sure if he used Greek and Latin or if it is in the vernacular, and I would like to hear it...

Ennio Morricone has written many wonderful film scores, including The Mission, The Dollar Trilogy, Once Upon a Time in the West, Once Upon a Time in America, and my favorite - Cinema Paradiso:
