St. Louis Catholic Parish in Alexandria VA is seeking a full time music director.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in music or equivalent experience. Director will be responsible for leading and developing the parish liturgical music program to provide sacred music in various styles. Candidate should have knowledge of the rich Catholic music tradition as well as contemporary styles to enhance and support the prayer and worship of the parish community.

Duties include all Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation, special parish celebrations, adult choir, contemporary choir, children’s choir, schedule and coordination of cantors/organists, train cantors, interface with and support the St. Louis Catholic School music program, coordinate music for weddings and funerals and special events.
