For those who may be in the Houston area, on Sunday the 22nd there will be a Mass Mob at 11am at Annunciation in downtown Houston, Texas. This Mass will be, of course, principally that of the Fifth Sunday in Lent, but also a celebration of the parish’s 145+ years of service to the Church in Houston.
This is an Ordinary Form Latin Mass with schola cantorum and organ. The celebrant will be H.E. Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, Archbishop of Galveston-Houston.
Also, that same evening at 7pm there will be a service of Solemn Vespers at Annunciation that will include the music of Henry Purcell and Francesco Soriano, one of the canticles to be sung to a sumptuous Anglican chant by David Willcocks!
