It seems that we are entering a era of progress in the reform of the reform.
As evidence, I submit three new hymnals that are well done.
We all know that the hymnal is the backbone of music in the parish. Once you get one, you are stuck, and it determines more than anything else the quality and tone of music in the parish.
1, Just got a copy of "One in Faith" by WPL. Has much good music, psalm antiphons for communion, and four texts by our cmaa'er Katherine Pluth. Traditional hymns retain sacral language
    2. St. Michael's hymnal. Known to many here, and a great investment in liturgical life.
    3. Pope Francis Hymnal: CC Watershed. Priced at $9.50 for a paperback binding, this brings the cost down to nearly that of a missalette.
These, in addition to the already established Adoremus, Vatican II, Lumen Christie, St Edmund (EF) may show that we are making some progress.

He did mention "Lumen Christie" which, without the final "e" is "Lumen Christi."
