I ran across this file as I was digging through my archives and thought you might like to hear it. I have recordings of the premiere of a couple of my large scale works, but none were good enough to publish so I have them for posterity's sake. This one comes close to being publishable, so I will put it here.
It is one of the movements from the performance of a large scale work I premiered back in 2009 (I think it was 2009). It is not the whole piece, but most of it. Sitio, means "I Thirst". I tried to capture a sense of Jesus hanging in the balance between heaven and earth and wandering in and out of consciousness in the deliberate choice of a static harmonic texture.
It was performed as a concert/meditation during Holy Week.
