Inspired by MrCooper, I wanted to share this piece with all of you. It is the fifth movement of my Teton Wilderness Suite.

While the tempo, dynamics and human feel are all missing from this simulation, its harmonic structure and polyphonic texture still sing true.

Sounds good, Francis. Most of the instruments seem realistic enough, but the clarinet (or musical saw, or muted trumpet, or whatever it is) bothers me.

Yes... all the sounds bother me immensely. I just pulled it up into Hauptwerk last night and it sounds better on the St. Anne organ. Will post soon.

Here is the piece on the St. Anne Mosley Hauptwerk organ (with added reverb). I played around with the stops and Swell shade manually as Sibelius played it out, so it might have a registration prob here or there, but you can hear the sonorities much better here.

  • I've yet to figure out how to MIDIate stop changes in Hauptwerk.

When you figure that out, let me know. I am using Sibelius so I imagine there is a mapping protocol that one puts into Sibelius in the MIDI information section.
