Please keep the 3 person schola of St. Michael's Parish, Gastonia, NC, in your prayers this weekend. We are singing for a service for the first time, and have been instructed at the last minute to add the Propers...although not in the proper places! (Cheating a little, using the Rossini settings, as they are easier to learn at the last minute and two of the 3 read no music of any sort!)
For future reference, if any of you know any REALLY simple polyphony style pieces suitable in lieu of the Propers for Offertory/Communion, suggestions would be welcome...
Prayers for your great success. May St. Romanus the Melodist and St. Cecilia intercede for you.
