Wedding Preface in Latin

Does anyone know where I could find (on the internet?) printouts of the Prefaces in Latin for the Novus Ordo... Some of them are pointed in the Missale Romano but many are not.

In particular, I am looking for the preface for a nuptial Mass "de dignitate fœderis nuptiarum." If you could post it here or email it to me at frmcquaide@holycrossdover.org, I would be most appreciative. Thanks.

Thanks, rich_enough. I am looking for the preface set to chant notation.
  • I just checked the editio typica altera (published 1991, reprinted in 2008) of the Ordo Celebrandi Matrimonium.

While there are numerous places thought the book where the nuptial blessing is notated in its various forms, unfortunately none of the prefaces are notated (including no. 234, "De dignitate foederis nuptiarum").

Does this help? I have it notated out and you could just change the translation.

    possibly.

Cantus67, that looks like a very useful document. I will definitely be saving that for the next time I sing for a Requiem in the older form.
