  • So, did anyone attend the Magnificat Day in Memphis on All Saints Day? It was also streaming on EWTN, and is now making it to their YouTube Channel. If you did, I'm curious about your thoughts on the liturgies and music. Certainly not everyday fare!

    I sang in this! I am in the Memphis Symphony Chorus, and it was a wonderful experience. The only thing was I wish we could have done something fancier with the actual mass parts--we knew Handel's "Amen Chorus" from the Messiah, but we used a pretty ordinary Amen during the Mass. The Magnificat Foundation organized it all, and they were probably more for active participation--something all the 2,000 or so people could sing.
