On Saturday, November 22nd, the Feast of St. Cecilia, everyone is invited to an all-day chant workshop at St. Charles Lwanga Parish (St. Cecilia Catholic Church), Detroit.

The workshop will include instruction in both Latin and English Gregorian chant - with the goal of helping both beginners and those with experience to sing the Ordinary Form Mass and the Extraordinary Form Mass with beauty and confidence.

The main presenter will be Dr. Ronald Prowse, the Director of Music at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Detroit.

If you register and pay by November 10th, your cost will be $25 and you will receive a copy of the Parish Book of Chant - Second Edition as part of your registration expense. If you register after November 10th, your cost will be $30.

This workshop is being underwritten and organized by members of St. Charles Lwanga, and the Detroit Tridentine Community, and the statewide Juventutem Michigan group of young adult Catholics. The workshop will be followed by a Traditional Latin Mass at 5:30 p.m., in St. Cecilia Church. All are welcome.
