Sir, Madam,

Four hundred and fifty fresh, young and, for the greater part, professionally trained voices will be bringing centuries-old texts and music to life during the twelfth edition of the International Gregorian Festival of Watou. It is going to be a fascinating event boasting the participation of 31 scholas and top ensembles from all over the planet.

The basic program will be taking place from Wednesday 13 to Sunday 17 May 2015 at Watou (Belgium).

Pre-ouvertures at Boëseghem (French Flanders) Dunkerque, Poperinge, Koksijde, Antwerp, Brussels, Wervik and Haringe start on 8 May 2015.

A substantial number of the participating scholas operate on professional or semi-professional level.

We are happy to be able to welcome five youth choirs and three scholas from religious communities.

Next to the numerous auditions, the entire officium for Ascension Day will be sung on 13 and14 May.

Evening concerts contain Gregorian chant and other music, inspired by the Gregorian repertoire. You will have noticed that, within the framework of 10 days, you will be taken on in a tsunami of musicality and breathtaking sacred spheres.
