    Director of Sacred Liturgy and Music
    St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church
    Arlington, Virginia

    Responsibilities: The Parish Director of Sacred Liturgy and Music, under the leadership of the
    Pastor, manages all aspects of worship in the parish, including the celebrations of the sacred
    liturgy and corresponding administrative support. In this capacity, the Director of Sacred
    Liturgy and Music is responsible for liturgical planning and preparation, directs music and
    oversees all musicians, and coordinates the work of all liturgical volunteers. The Director of
    Sacred Liturgy and Music organizes, schedules, prepares budgets for and orders supplies for
    parish worship.

    Qualifications: Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree in music or the equivalent,
    knowledge of Catholic liturgical theology, and experience in sacred music. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Candidates must be those
    whose Christian life, morals and fidelity to the Church’s Magisterium recommend them.
    The position offers a competitive salary, commensurate with education and experience, and
    benefits.
