'The Amazing Parish' website links to CMAA and other chant sites!

    I thought I'd share something that made me very happy. I recently happened upon this website, which is a new initiative to improve parish life in Catholic churches.

    I looked at the music section, and noticed that they only had links to GIA and OCP plus some praise and worship music. I thought I should remedy the situation, so I sent them links to the CMAA and Corpus Christi watershed, thinking it was worth a shot.

    To my pleasant surprise, I see that they quickly put up the links in a very prominent place, along with links to the ICKSP's collection of gregorian propers, Cantica Nova, and Sancta Missa! Take a look for yourself:

    Hopefully, this will introduce some people to the idea of the Mass as a sung liturgy and encourage the use of the propers!

    Good for them. They do need to remove the picture of the piano under the church music section. Why not a picture of an organ?

    Judging by the title they used, "What is sacred music?", I think they meant to link to this article on our web site:
    http://musicasacra.com/about-cmaa/faq/
    but instead they linked to the main page.

    It's a welcome effort on their part (and yours)!

    So .. four years along .. how amazing are the early adopter parishes?
    Any stories to share?

    (By the way the website seems to have lost any links it might have had.)
