NYC area Assumption Mass?

    Would anyone care to suggest a Manhattan or northern NJ Mass on August 15, or its vigil?
    I will be visiting with people who are either barely practicing or non-Catholic, but are interested in, and might be persuaded to attend a Mass with careful music.
    Thanks for any ideas.

    St. Pat's vigil mass last Sunday had decent music. Only 1-2 verses of each hymn. Proulx/O'Connor Missa Simplex. Short mass. Plus the cathedral is under construction.

    Probably not what you are looking for but it is an option.

    The Church of Our Saviour (Park and 38th) will have a sung Mass for the Feast of the Assumption on August 15 at 12:05 p.m.

    The music will consist of the Propers in Latin and English (Gregorian chant), the Ordinary in Latin and English (Gregorian chant), congregational hymnody, and an organ prelude, postlude, and improvisations.
