Looking for links to Communion Psalm settings.
  • I seem not to be able to find the Mass planning page at Corpus Christi Watershed, with all its links, so I will just toss this out for a bigger selection of settings: where can I get Communion Psalm settings. Our young MD took off on vacation and then to a new job with assurances that he would have music for us through August, but of course...

He may well be communicating with others but I am cantoring in two weeks and want to be prepared if it all falls on my head.

    Thanks.

I'm not sure what your are looking for exactly, but here's the list of all completed Sundays and Feasts on the CCW website: http://www.ccwatershed.org/completed/

The CMAA also has an overview of Gregorian communion antiphons and their psalm verses: http://musicasacra.com/music/communio/

If the upcoming weeks aren't completed on the CCW site, check Andrew Motyka's communion antiphons:

  • Many thanks. Of course the (to be honest only slightly) older (than me) folks want to use gather, or the old settings from Worship, so it will be a hodgepodge.
  • I remember a page with every Sunday (not just feasts) and there were links to chants, the SEP, psalm settings at each slot in a Mass.

That is still on the CCW site, but they haven't built pages for all the Sundays yet.

  • Ah, many thanks.
  • If you look at the CCW "Completed Sundays" tab, most have been done at some point.
