    Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Parish, located in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a full time Director of Liturgical Music and Organist to provide leadership for a thriving and diverse music ministry. Responsibilities include directing an adult mixed choir, children's choirs, handbell ensembles, serving as the primary organist for the parish and school liturgies, and overseeing the overall music ministry. The successful candidate will possess a heart for congregational worship and a healthy respect of diverse worship styles; excellent, classically based skills in organ, piano, choral conducting, handbells; and the ability to work well with children. It is desirable that the candidate has appropriate education and degrees (bachelor's or higher), previous music ministry experience, and an active Catholic faith. Salary is commensurate with experience, and benefits are offered according to Archdiocesan guidelines.

    Mary Queen of Peace is a vibrant parish of 1300 families with a strong and active school community located in the Webster Groves area. In addition to the pursuit of excellence in liturgical worship services, previous seasons in the music ministry have included a diverse array of concerts given by both guest artists and parish musical groups, from choral masterworks sung with orchestra to concerts by contemporary artists.
