I don't know how I managed to make a duplicate post; I was correcting a punctuation mistake and accidentally re-posted the same thread and now I can't get rid of it.
[Vague but incendiary comment laced with sarcasm and hyperbole intended to create a rabbit hole and defeat the intended purpose of the initial post inserted here.]
Melo, almost everyone gets the last three syllables of my name wrong so I stick with Coll. You wouldn't believe the endless variations: Coolofari, Collorrafy, Collofafly.
Well, HHFrancesco, Bishop di Roma, gave quite a Coll to the wild Sicilians over the weekend; let's hope that like the ancient Cretins no one ends up sleeping widda fishes! I nominate Cdl. Pell to flank il Papa as his Lucca Brazzi.
I was a little consternated, too, since we've got a lot of Mafia boys resting in our cemetery.
"Far from the unpredictable and dangerous life of the mob, more than 20 infamous gangsters rest beneath majestic tombstones or lie in glimmering vaults in the vast stillness of St. John's Cemetery in Middle Village."
What a Collaborative effort! ... perhaps worthy of a Colloquium breakout session ... or maybe we should instead take up a Collection for those of the Collar ... not that anyone would be accused of Collusion ... just make sure your Collision coverage is up to date.
MJM, my portrait is the first image in Wikipedia under the term "epic," and yet I languish, ignored tho' in-violet, encircled by minions of the busy and engaged. Many are Coll'd, few are chosen, despite whatever the h*ll Bernadette Farrell sings. I need Kathy's approbation for all the puns I'm force-feeding y'all.
