    Why Psalm 51, not Psalm 65?

    ISTM the former is more germane to Lent...though IIRC, it does make an appearance in the Office for the Dead.

    In my opinion, there are many Psalms that can convey many things Theologically. I chose Psalm 50, but I could have chosen many others, I totally agree with you.
