When St. John Paul the Great came to Candlestick, it was my first experience singing from square notes. I'll never forget that, and the way he waved from his bullet proof Benz.
The Agnus Dei of this is absolutely gorgeous. I hope Mr. Clark doesn't mind, but I wrote an extended ending to it (about 4 more measures of 4/4), just to prolong the cadence. It seems like he watches this post (of course, he wrote the piece!), so if he wants to see what I did (which I'd totally understand, being a composer myself), I'd be more than happy to upload it to him.
I will be taching Mr. Clark's opus to my choir once we are past Corpus Christi. It is a wonderful piece, and I like his treatment of the voices especially the divisi in the soprano at the end of the Gloria.
