Chant in Ontario

There is a short workshop called Gregorian Chant Express taught by William Tortolano taking place in Fergus, Ontario, November 29, 2008. More information here.

Attended a workshop w/ Dr. Tortolano at Enders Island in Mystic, CT a year or so ago. I recommend it. Would love to learn more about cheirography in conducting chant, which he is quite good at. His method seemed based on Solesmes practice and dependent on ictus. Are there alternative methods of cheirography that aren't?
