Spanish Mass Setting -- Flor y Canto

    If forced to select a setting of the Ordinary of the Mass from Flor y Canto, which one would you pick?

    When force is applied to Mass, you get acceleration.
    I think this explains the tempo at most contemporary liturgies.

    We have a nice Spanish chant Ordinary we use if you'd like it. Folks at the Cathedral sing it wonderfully

    I also just became aware of a wonderful Spanish chant setting being employed at the Pontifical College Josephinum arranged by Jason Keefer, with the Gloria adapted by J. Michael Thompson. There's a copyright notice on it, so I don't think I can post it... but one might be able to talk Dr. Keefer into sending you a copy.

    Hm. I remember having to work with Flor y Canto on a very limited basis, but I don't remember the Mass settings from it. I think we used the ones in the OCP hymnal, but I can't remember the names. There was one of them at least which wasn't too bad and didn't change the words.

    Yeah, I know. Not too helpful to remember everything but the name!
